Section 1

I am excited about creating my own website that will express my journey and educational experiences with web technology and web writing.  When concentrating on my website specifically for Section One, several things come to mind. However, I have no doubt that the themes and structures I am about to present to you will change. I am constantly editing and reediting papers before I submit them, and I have a feeling I will carry this trait over to my web creativity.  Overall though, this is my general plan, and I thought using Paint would be the best way to convey my ideas!

I really like this look for my homepage! I really enjoy earthy colors, and I could see myself using a format like this for the main page that will lead to other Sections.  My links to Sections 1, 2, and 3 would be in the purple circles on the left, but obviously displayed in cooler looking buttons.  I like the colors of the page, but I think it would be neat to have watermarks in the background, appropriate graphics, I will mess around with fonts, etc, but this my skeleton idea.

For Section 1 we are supposed to focus on personal experiences with technology and writing, and our journey through technical literacy. I would like my reader to “interact” with Section 1 because we all know the importance of being active rather than passive.  I would like to have links that lead to multiple pages; I will add pictures to enhance my words and make the page reader friendly.  That sums it up for now.

Your ideas for section one look AWESOME! I just wanted to comment on how much detail and work you put into your description (and graphic sketch) of your ideas.

Great job. I totally wanted to copy your using Paint idea, but I’m not Hannah 🙂
